This innovation has been developed with our customers and concrete suppliers to deliver savings and efficiency for everyone.
CEO Adam McArthur says “The busiest time for our suppliers is in the 7 - 10am period, this is when the industry typically has their concrete delivered. This leads to our supplier partners having capacity in later periods of the day that is not filled. As a result, we have worked with them to offer discount pricing after 12pm for those customers who can organise their concrete pours in the afternoon.”
“We know booking pours in the afternoon may not work for many of our customers, however we are always looking for ways to provide options for our customers to save time and money and are excited to release this innovation to the concrete market.”
Liz Wilson, Head of Product, explains how this works: “When customers log in they'll use the same easy process to select their product mix and delivery details, however when it comes to choosing a delivery time, they’ll see a discount on timeslots after 12pm.”
The price for booking an afternoon delivery may change as we work with our suppliers and customers to make it even easier to book concrete. Our site will always display the best price available for every time slot.
